Privacy Notice

Who is the controller

awwi ("awwi", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at privacy@awwi.pet for any question or request about your data.

What we collect and why

When you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, and — depending on the form — your phone number, pet details, and the service you're interested in.

We use this data for one purpose: to notify you by email or phone when awwi launches in your area, and to understand demand while we prepare to launch. We do not use it for unrelated marketing and we do not sell it.

Our legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit a waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see "Your rights" below.

How long we keep your data

We keep waitlist data for up to 24 months from the date you sign up. If awwi launches in your area sooner and you convert to a customer or carer account, your data then moves under our (separate) service Terms and Privacy Notice for account holders.

If awwi has not launched in your area, or you have not converted to an account, within that 24-month window, we delete or anonymize your waitlist data unless you ask us to keep it longer or the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; and withdraw your consent at any time, which stops future contact and triggers deletion of your waitlist entry.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@awwi.pet. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any event within the timeframe required by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) if you believe we have not handled your data lawfully.

Where your data is processed

Waitlist forms are hosted by our form provider, Tally, whose servers are located in the European Union. This website itself is served through Cloudflare's global network, which may process traffic through servers outside Thailand as part of delivering the site to you.

Where your personal data is transferred outside Thailand, we rely on our providers' standard contractual and technical safeguards (such as encryption in transit and contractual data-protection commitments) to protect it to a standard consistent with the PDPA.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as awwi's services evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
